The practice of physical activity whether in federated sport, leisure or as prevention and treatment of diseases has increased exponentially, with the advantages and the problems inherent to its practice.
The specificity and importance of the constraints inherent to the practice of physical activity and sport imply knowledge, of physiology, assessment, and treatment that were not developed in undergraduate education, on a medical degree.The course objectives are to provide the knowledge and skills needed for good practice in the field of sports medicine, in particular what regards the medical examination sports, prevention and treatment of injuries and the assessment and exercise prescription.
