Overview
The Doctoral Program in Gerontology and Geriatrics is the response to the need of advanced training in the area. The main objective of the program is to give a specialized training to health professionals in the area of Gerontology and Geriatrics, for direct intervention, policy definition, service planning and research with elderly populations, using national and foreign specialists.

Elegibility
Holders of master's degree and graduates, or legal equivalent, with basic training in Gerontology, Health Sciences, Social Sciences and other related areas.
The Scientific Committee of the study cycle may admit candidates who do not meet the conditions referred above, but whose curriculum demonstrates adequate preparation for the frequency of the study cycle.
The candidates should submit together with the application a project proposal of up to 1000 words.
