Medical emergencies in dental medicine are infrequent occurrences, but their severity could endanger the patient's life. Effective resolution of these emergencies requires knowledge, technical skills, communication skills and teamwork organization. Due to the rarity of these situations, there are usually few opportunities for actual training in their resolution. The simulated scenarios allowed the regular training of these situations. This course aims at the specific training of these competences by a team of dental practice, applied to the resolution of four simulated emergency situations: Obstructed airway/Asthma, Hypoglycemia, Convulsion and Syncope.
