The electrocardiogram (ECG) is one of the complementary diagnostic tests that, due to its clinical utility, ease of execution and low cost, is more used in clinical practice. Particularly in the areas of Geriatrics and Sports Cardiology, this diagnostic aid has been presented as an essential exam. For example, the international recommendations for Sports Medicine / Cardiology include the ECG in the medical-sports assessment exam. This means that the doctor accredited to perform this examination should be able to interpret it according to the recommendations.
